We display worldwide public transport facilities on a uniform map, so that you can forget about browsing individual operators websites.
The map is implemented with Openstreetmap data, which leads to the ability to complete and correct the map on your own. If you are new to Openstreetmap your can find a beginners guide about adding data to the map here, afterwards the Openstreetmap Wiki has also information on adding public transports in general and specificly about this map.
This project is operated by MeMoMaps. If you are interested in realizing custom projects with Openstreetmap, don't hesitate to contact me.

Is there an Android/iOS App?
Unfortunately not. Nonetheless you can achive app like behaviour of the website by adding the website to your smartphone's home screen. You can do this via the menu of your mobile browser. This will create an app symbol that will start the map in fullscreen mode, so that it behaves almost like a native app.
I would like to use the map for my project XY. Is this allowed?
Absolutely. The map is available under the conditions of the CC-BY-SA and ODbL licences (also for commercial use). That means you have to give information about the data source at a suitable place. This can be done for example by an attribution like "Map memomaps.de CC-BY-SA, map data Openstreetmap ODbL". Be careful if you combine the map with data from other sources in your project. In this case you have to ensure that all data is available under the terms of the ODbL licence. You get further information on this topic from the Openstreetmap Foundation. Even though the map is available under an open licence, that does not mean our server capacity can be used in your project. Especially websites with a lot of traffic must be hosted on your own servers. If you need help with that, I can provide you an offer.
I need public transport data for project XY. Can you provide the data of ÖPNVKarte?
Of course. The map is built 100% from Openstreetmap data and is therefore freely available under the terms of ODbL licence. The full data can be downloaded from Openstreetmap. If you just need a subset Geofabrik provides that.
I found an error on the map. How can I correct it?
The map is automatically generated from Openstreetmap data and is continuously updated. That means if you find an error you can correct it in Openstreetmap and this will also fix it in ÖPNVKarte. To do this navigate to the affected position on ÖPNVKarte and click the edit symbol in the upper right corner. If Openstreetmap is updated the changes are normally committed to ÖPNVKarte within a few minutes.
The changes I did in Openstreetmap are not visible on ÖPNVKarte. What can I do?
In general the updates of Openstreetmap data are copied within minutes. If changes do not appear immediately on the map, it might be that the server is under high load or there is a full update running. You should be patient for a while and try again the next day. Sometimes a page reload solves the issue, because cached data will be refreshed. Very few change types (for instance deletion of stop positions) are not applied automatically. In these cases a manual reimport is needed, so that there might be a delay of a few months.
